Bloggers everywhere can attest to the power of love that comes from being connected to a community of support, love, and shared writings that we all saw come together this past April when Heather and Mike Spohr lost their beautiful baby girl, Madeline Spohr. It changed all of us. Suddenly we were fierce, we were strong, we were united by the pain and suffering of a fellow writer, and we took action to comfort and aid this family as they experienced more pain than anyone should ever have to go through.

In the months since Maddie passed, Heather's blog has become an amazing thing. She now writes about her life as she deals with each day. It is a place where healing, raw, real emotion, and love can be found on a daily basis.
Mike also has a blog, and his writings are a true testament to what an amazing father he was to his beautiful baby girl.

This little girl changed the way people looked at the blogging community. She brought us all together, was a source of joy and light during her seventeen month stay on this planet, and continues to be a source of inspiration and hope for families and babies everywhere.
